Did you take advantage of International Backup Day to check out your backups (you DO backup!?)<!--break--> to make sure they work? This is a really important piece in any backup strategy. Pick a file (any file) in one of your recent backups and restore it. Make sure it is useable!

When is International Backup Day? Friday, the thirteenth. This year (2009) there are three of them. They occur in February, March and November. If you didn't take advantage of it this month, do so next month. But don't wait until November! Backup and Restore NOW!
